ContinuousTraveler.com is a free RV park finder and RV trip planner. It was developed by a RV'er for RV'ers.
To accommodate the varying Internet connection speeds that RV'ers encounter as they travel, Continuous Traveler works in two modes: Maps mode, and Text mode.
The default is Maps mode. If pages load too slowly, please switch to Text mode using the menu selections at the top center of each page.
Here is a couple example searchs. Scroll the example search results to see the list of RV parks. Change the search fields and click the Find button to get different results.
As of late December there are over 1900 RV parks on Continuous Traveler. More are being added daily.
Take a look at these sample trips. Create your own copy of the example trip by clicking the Copy button near the top of the example trip page. Try editing the trip; play around.
Once you have created trips you can find them again by searching for RV parks, cities, or GPS coordinates in or near the trips. Here are some example searches for trips with stops in or near:
Play around with planning a trip. On any page that lists detail information for a RV park, such as this search for parks around Key Largo, FL, you will see a button that says "Start New Trip Here" for each park. You can also find this button on maps by clicking on the icon of a RV park.
When you click "Start New Trip Here", you will be taken to a page showing a dark red stopover viapoint marker.
Drag the little white squares on the route line to your next viapoint, and a white marker will appear. There should also be brighter red RV park markers. Drag the white marker to a red RV park marker to select a park as a stopover point.
Note that when you drag the route-line to a new location and the white marker appears, it also pops up an information window. At the lower left of the information window are two buttons, "Pass-Through" and "Delete". If you click the "Pass-Through" button, no RV park will be selected, and the marker becomes a green icon meaning that you will go through this area, but not stop. Pass-Through viapoints are a way of pinning the route to a spot that is not on a straight line between stopovers.
