The RV park details screen shows the information available for an individual RV park. It is displayed by pressing the blue details disclosure button either on an RV park item in a list, or the information balloon popped up from a map pin.
Layout
- Back Button:
- Return to the map or list of RV parks.
- Email Icon:
- Send an email containing all details fo the park to whoever you wish. Exits CT RVParks application, and starts the Mail app.
- Contacts Icon:
- Add the park to your Contacts app. The name, address, phone, etc., are added to a group in your address book. You may specify a group name in App Settings (available from the RV parks list or map).
The details page contains these sections:
- Main
- Address
- Phones
- GPS
- Internet
Main Section
The main RV park details section will contain two to four lines:
- Name
- A name by which the RV park is known. This may not be the only name it goes by.
- Type
- Purely commercial versus governement run/sited.
- Status (not shown)
- "Defunct" if the park is no longer operating. This line is ommitted if the park is still in business, as in the example.
- Comments
- The first few words/characters of comments about the park. This line is ommitted if there are no comments.

Address Section
The RV park address will contain two or three lines:
- Physical or PO Box
- If a physical address of some kind is known, it will be the first line of the address. If only a PO box is known, it is the first line.
- PO Box (not shown)
- If a PO Box is known in addition to a physical address. This line is omitted if it would have been blank.
- City, State/Province
- The last line of the address will always be the city, state or province, postal code, and country of the RV park. This locality may be part of the address given by the park, or the "GPS address" of the park, or (as a last resort) derived by the park's location on the map.
Phones Section
The RV park address will contain one to three lines. At least one of these will be a voice line:
- Local:
- Voice line phone number. Omitted if unknown.

- Toll Free:
- Voice line phone number. Omitted if unknown.
Tap the toll free number to call it.
- Fax:
- Facsimile number. Omitted if unknown.
GPS Section
Latitude and longitude of the RV park, as best as can be determined. Display format is controlled via App Settings.
The Quality and Basis lines provide information on how accurate and reliable the GPS coordinates likely are. See the "GPS Coordinates" page on this site for a more complete explanation.
Quality
- Verified:
- The coordinates appear to be fairly accurate.
- Guess:
- The coordinates could not be verified, but may be close.
- Invalid:
- The GPS coordinates could not be determined from information available with any degree of accuracy.
Basis
Indicates how the GPS coordinates were derived or validated.
"Cross Checked" is okay. "Aerial Imagery" is good. "Feet on Ground GPS" is best. Everything else: not so trustworthy.
Get Directions from Google
Tap this line to feed the coordinates to the Google Maps application on the iPhone®, where you can get directions.
Internet Section
The RV Internet section will include zero to two items:
- Site:
- The web address of the RV park's website, if known.
Tap the URL to show the web page in Safari.
- Mail:
- The email address of the RV park, if known.
Tap the email address to send mail to the RV park.
