In App Settings:

• you can customize,
• download updates,
• set download account/password,
• get information about the app,
• reset settings

The sections are:

Display:

Change GPS display/edit format.

Contacts:

Change the name of the group to which RV parks will be added in Contacts.

Search:

Set the number of searches to be kept in the undo/redo history.

Updates:

View available updates, current number of RV parks, update history.

Account:

Set your ContinuousTraveler.com registration information. Used for RV park update downloads.

About:

Information about the application, web site, email contact.

Clear All Settings:

Revert all settings to factory defaults, and clear account information.

The Display settings allow you to choose the format used to display and edit GPS coordinates.

Choose a format by tapping one of the three GPS Format buttons:

D:

Degrees only. This is the default setting.

DM:

Degrees-Minutes.

DMS:

Degrees-Minutes-Seconds.

The example latitude and longitude will display in the chosen format.

When you are viewing details for an RV park, you can add contact information for the park to your iPhone® address book in the Contacts app. The RV park information will always be added to a group to make it easier to manage parks separately from your "normal" contacts.

This Contacts settings controls the name of the group to which the RV park contact information is added. The default group name is "CTRVParks".

Using controls on the main RV parks page you can undo and redo searches.

The Search setting allows you to set the number of searches maintained in the search history. This is the number of searches that you can step back and forth through. This is also the number of searches that will be remembered when you quit and restart the app.

The range is 0-300 searches.

The Updates item lets you keep your on-phone RV park database up to date (see Account, below).

The ContinuousTraveler.com database of RV parks is constantly changing. RV parks are added. Information for RV parks changes. And, in rare cases, entries for RV parks are retracted.

Tap on the Updates item to bring up the Updates page.

To use Updates, above, you need to register on the ContinuousTraveler.com web site, and confirm that registration.

Register using a valid email account on which you can receive a confirmation email from ContinuousTraveler.com. Follow the instructions in that email to confirm that you want the account, and to make it permanent.

You can validate that the account is correct by tapping the Updates item in App Settings. If you entered the account information correctly, you will get a count of available updates, and when you come back to the App Settings page the Status line for Account will say Validated.

Once you have a registered and confirmed ContinuousTraveler.com account, enter the email address and the password that you registered with here in the Account section of the App Settings.

If you forget what email address you used to register, or your password, use these links to fix the problem:

• I forgot my password (you must know which email address you used to register).
• I forgot my email address (you must know the name you used to register).

The About section shows version and copyright information for the CT RVParks application.

It also provides a link to the CT RVParks app section on ContinuousTraveler.com as well a contact email address, info@ContinuousTraveler.com.

Tap on ContinuousTraveler.com to bring the web site up in Safari.

Tap on info@ContinuousTraveler.com to create an email message to this address in Mail.

Top on the copyright line to see the copyright page on ContinuousTraveler.com.

Tap the "Clear All Settings" item to revert all settings to what they were when you first installed CT RVParks on your iPhone.

Note that this will clear your account information, which means that you cannot do Updates.
